Title: Fall Foliage Ride 9/24/17
Post by: Mike Reynolds on September 01, 2017, 10:36:45 PM
We will meet at Dysart's on Broadway in Bangor at 8:00. Please be ready to travel before 8:15. We will meet up with others at the Irving in Dover-Foxcroft (1021 W.Main St.) at 9:00 and top off fuel. Please be ready to leave there by 9:15. Be prepared for a little over 100 miles before stopping for fuel again. This will be a mix of mostly paved and dirt roads with some green and blue trails. There will be an optional hill climb, ledges to play on, and a small water crossing. There will also be many great views, several waterfalls, some cool points of interest, and a high chance of wildlife spotting. Make sure you have a full size spare, recovery points, and working 4-low. I suggest atleast 31" tires. If you wish to join in but do not have 31" tires we can get you through with some spotting and recovery. A CB is highly recommended! This is how we notify you of oncoming traffic, trail hazards, cool sightings, etc.

Tomorrow! 80s and sun hardly feels like a foliage ride. My planning certainly didn't account for the weather we've had but there will be some foliage to see and it will be a fun trip regardless!
