Title: "Krawler"
Post by: Mike Reynolds on July 25, 2015, 09:49:05 PM
As some of you know I bought another TJ in June. It's almost a twin to Smiley's Willys Edition. It's an 05 with all the options of the Willys package except the decals. First I pulled the fenders off. They are rust free so they will go on Smiley's rig, which is nice because they are the same paint code. There was a bunch of shit caught up in the fender supports that started rusting the lower section of the firewall.

Doing a good job Mike, it'll be well preserved. Use Fluid Film for all of the places that you can't paint (or don't want to) like inside the frame.

Late update. I blew one of the Rubicon Express front shocks earlier this year at Grumpy's place. I replaced them with some Billys and added a set of Teraflex BPEs. I've been having some trouble with the old Warn winch so we just replaced it with a Superwinch Tigershark 9500 with synthetic line.
